Account Manager
Adam brings a strong foundation in insurance regulation and captive account management to Helio Risk.
Adam began his career as a consultant for Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance, where he spent 7.5 years building his foundational insurance concepts. He then spent two years at the South Carolina Department of Insurance as a Financial Analyst, gaining firsthand experience with the regulatory side of the captive insurance industry. He then joined a captive management firm as a Captive Account Manager, where he honed his skills in managing client relationships and supporting the operational needs of captive programs. Adam joined Helio Risk in July of 2026 as an Account Manager.
This combination of regulatory insight and client-facing experience allows Adam to bring a well-rounded perspective to Helio Risk’s clients, understanding both the compliance framework captives operate within and the day-to-day realities of managing them. Adam is currently pursuing the Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation.
Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, and Financial Planning from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Mississippi College. He is actively involved in the captive industry as a member of the CICA NextGen Main Committee and the CICA NextGen Education Subcommittee.
Outside of his professional role, Adam resides in Charleston, SC, with his wife and their longhaired miniature dachshund, Henny.
